Chinggis Khan's girls

Yesterday was "Day of women", flowers were blooming everywhere in UB and all public places were closed (the wrong day to visit museums and market, we will remember next time) and it seems a lot of women prefers to visit Chinggis Khan (in front of the parliament) than city boys, unfortunately.

Hello Carole and Koz,
It is a pleasure to read about your visit in Mongolia. I hope you had a nice thought about Temudgin. I went to see the movie Mongol with Edward and our son Matthew. The Khan said that the whole world will soon speak Mongolian, are you both learning a few words? Koz is learning to sing but I was wondering if Carole will learn to jump and dance?
When I attended a children's literature conference in Macau, the winner of the IBBY - Asahi literacy prize was a Mongolian writer who started a mobile library on a camel. He attended the ceremony with his beautiful bright blue national dress. If you meet Jambyn Dashondog, tell him a fellow member of IBBY Canada (Int'l Board on Books for Young People) says hello Aurevoir et bon séjour.
